Account Manager – Food Packaging – United Kingdom

THE ROLE:

A highly respected company specialising in the manufacture of packaging for the Food Industry is looking to recruit an Account Manager to service the entire United Kingdom.
You will have an excellent background of success in the sale of plastic packaging into the Food Industry and have an impressive track record of managing large accounts and growing revenue within them.
Knowledge of selling into dairy, meat and poultry markets would be a distinct advantage.

THE COMPANY:

Leading suppliers of a wide range of food packaging are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager with experience in the sale of plastic and polystyrene packaging into a broad food manufacturing market across the United Kingdom.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven Account Management experience in the Food Industry
• Ability to create new contacts and opportunities within packaging
• Track record of solutions led sales approach
• Background in the Food Packaging Industry
•  Demonstrable track record in bringing in large sales 
•  Excellent relationship building techniques
•  Experience in the Dairy, Meat and Poultry markets

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: £40,000-£45,000 basic (dependent upon experience)
Commission: £55,000 + OTE
