Area Sales Manager – Flow Metering – North Wales, West Midlands, Northern Ireland

THE ROLE:

An Area Sales Manager position has arisen with one of the UK’s leading providers of Process Control Instrumentation. This sales role will involve selling a range of instrumentation including Mass and Pressure Flow Controllers and Evaporation Systems into a range of industry sectors across a West Midlands, North Wales and Northern Ireland territory. The successful Area Sales Manager will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for providing a high level of sales and service to existing accounts as well as creating new business, liaising and negotiating with all levels to board and selling them Instrumentation Systems and solutions.

Leading manufacturer of Process Control Instrumentation, with a £multi-million turnover and very ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years. Holding an enviable market share and with excellent relationships developed with a number of existing clients up to blue chip. Headed by a dynamic and passionate MD, this company invests heavily in staff rewards, and allows real autonomy to carry out the role without micro-management interference.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

•  A confident self-starter. 
•  Knowledge of flow metering systems or instrumentation
•  A technical background to understand the products to be sold. 
• Strong business development and closing skills. 
• A real determination to chase leads. 
• A target-oriented performer, who will deliver results – a hunter not a farmer.
•  A real passion for providing outstanding customer support.

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: £23,000 – £35,000
Benefits: Car, mobile, laptop, home office, all fuel paid, matched pension.
