Internal Sales – Steel Industry - Midlands

THE ROLE:

An internationally respected supplier of speciality metals into a wide range of industries including aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, food, chemical processing, transportation, consumer products, power generation and medical are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Representative to join their already strong sales team.
You will be office based and you will be responsible for all aspects of selling to a range of clients from a diverse industrial background.
Your duties will cover administration, quoting, order entry and approaching clients on the phone to secure orders.
This is an important role where you will become a key contact for regular clients and will be tasked to maintain and grow existing business whilst becoming an integral part of the team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

•  Be very well organised, and have excellent time management and prioritising skills, 
•  Be a customer orientated team player, 
•  Be able to work to a high level of accuracy whilst under pressure,
•  Have a sound educational background, preferably a recent graduate,
•  Have proven communication and negotiation skills across all levels,
•  Be flexible in their approach to the workplace,
•  Have good IT skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and E-mail,
•  Have fluent verbal and written English language skills,
•  Experience of sales in a metals distribution background would be an advantage,

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: £18,000 to £25,000 basic (dependent upon experience)
