International Business Development Manager – Data Acquisition

THE ROLE:

This International Business Development Manager role will involve selling a range of data acquisition products including data loggers and industrial instrumentation to a wide range of markets including pharmaceutical, bio-tech, academia, research & development via an established network of distributors across a UK & International sales territory. This International Business Development Manager role will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you are fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area.

A well respected and rapidly expanding manufacturer of Life Science and Laboratory Equipment that is experiencing a period of sustained growth and now has an additional position on their sales team for a highly successful and focused individual. THE CANDIDATE:

• Commercial sales experience in a scientific or technical instrumentation business.
• Knowledge of process / testing / monitoring / medical instrumentation.
• Experience of selling via distributors both in the UK & International.
• A track record in defining and launching successful new products.
• Ideally educated to a degree level or equivalent within a scientific discipline.
• Autonomous & Entrepreneurial Attitude.
• Driven & Tenacious.
• Ambitious & Career Orientated.
• Target Orientated.
• Superb communication & negotiation skills.

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Commission: £50,000 - £55,000 anticipated 1st year OTE
