Key Account Manager - Artist Supplies - South East - £45K

THE ROLE:

A fabulous opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading craft and artists materials suppliers who have consistently enjoyed an enviable position within this specialist sector and have grown in turnover year on year over the last 5 years. Currently have an annual turnover of £15million and have ambitious yet realistic plans to open further distribution routes for their products. The chance to join a growing and specialist business at this level would be well rewarded. This role is to service existing accounts and develop new channel sales into the key artist materials and graphic artists retail businesses across the South East of England managing an account base of approximately £2million per annum. The ideal candidate MUST have prior experience of working in a Key Account capacity selling artist, studio and graphic materials with a proven track record of growing accounts and forging strong customer relationships.

They have enjoyed year on year growth despite prevailing economic challenges and are currently opening up new distribution channels to show an increase in their annual turnover over and above that of their competition.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

•  Must live within the South East, 1 hour commute to Central London
•  Proven track record of managing Key Accounts in the artist materials sector
•  Have previously worked for a reputable business in this sector
•  Proven track record in meeting and over achieving sales targets
•  Excellent rapport building skills
•  Evidence of developing strong customer retention levels
•  Articulate and represent a strong ambassador

PACKAGE:

Basic: £45,000

Benefits: Commission + Car
