Sales Manager – Opto Electronic Equipment – United Kingdom

THE ROLE:

A well respected supplier of specialised equipment into the armed forces and law enforcement agencies are currently looking to recruit for a Sales Manager to sell their range of Opto-electronic and thermal imaging devices across the United Kingdom.
You will have experience in the sale of a range of thermal imaging, night vision devices and/or Opto-electronic sighting systems into the military and/or law enforcement agencies. You will have excellent account management skills and be well used to selling equipment of this nature through a complex tender process.
This amazing role will see you communicate at all levels predominantly within the major Police Forces across the UK. You will have the experience to identify the best route into these organisations to best achieve the smooth progress of the tender process.
This demanding role will see use every aspect of your commercial ability and market knowledge.

THE COMPANY:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

•  Experience in the sales tender process
•  Knowledge of the internal workings of Law enforcement agencies
•  Opto-electronic equipment sales experience
•  Experience in the sale of thermal imaging and night vision equipment desirable
•  Excellent Account Management skills 
• Relationship builder
•  Patient approach to the sales process
•  Keen understanding of the client’s requirements
• Experience of selling into the public sector

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: £45,000-£55,000 basic (dependent upon experience)
Commission: Annual group bonus
