Sales Manager - Sporting Venue - Northampton - c£60k plus bonus! - Venue Based

THE ROLE:

Are you an experienced Sales Manager with a Sporting and Hospitality background seeking a new and exciting opportunity!?

A Sales Manager position has arisen within a prestigious and well known sporting venue in the Northamptonshire area. This exciting role will involve using your superb staff management skills to motivate and support a small sales team of sales executives. Based at the impressive venue you will be responsible for the sales revenue for the sales team who are responsible for selling all event day packages, sporting VIP boxes and hospitality packages at that amazing venue has to offer. You will also be responsible  for building awareness and the reputation of the high quality facilities within the venue. Reporting directly to the Sales Director for this role, you are fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area.

THE COMPANY:

A well known sporting venue that has successfully grown from strength to strength is looking for a Sales Manager to develop and grow a successful sales team, ensuring specific targets and KPI's are set, maintained, monitored and exceeded! Excellent venue and a fantastic opportunity!

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST have experience of selling events & hospitality within another sporting venue.
• Based within reasonable and realistic commutable distance from the Venue.
• Happy to be based at the Venue.
• Staff management experience.
• Proven sales track record.
• MUST have experience in selling conference and events facilities.
• Must have budget and management skills.
• Excellent ability to communicate at all levels - both verbally and written.
• Be able to report clearly and concisely at board level.
• Must be extremely well presented.

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: c£60k Basic (dependent upon experience)
Commission: £Excellent anticipated 1st year OTE Uncapped!!!
